Dear Mr. Ballantyne,
Would you please refer to your letter
LC1053/542/452 of the 8th of March about
a grant for Hong Kong University.
My S. of S. has agreed that the
approach to the Treasury should be at the
permanent Under-Secretary level, but he
trusts that the joint letter from
Sir Orme
Sargent and Sir Thomas Lloyd
will make it clear that the whole matter
has been fully and carefully considered by
the two Ministers and has their support.

send.
Yours sincerely,
